The Leona Group was started in 1996 by Dr. William Coats with the vision of providing high-quality education to under-served communities in the US.  Leona serves as a charter management organization (CMO) for 26 schools across Phoenix, Casa Grande, Tucson, and Havasu City.  To date, Leona also has 33 schools in the Midwest and 4 schools in Florida.
